Day 1 | Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Your flight (details to be advised) will land at Kathmandu’s international airport sometime during the afternoon hours (local time in Nepal). Kathmandu is an incredibly diverse, historic city with breathtaking Newari architecture and centuries-old Hindu and Buddhist religious sites. It is a city where ancient tradition rubs shoulders with modernity. The grandeur of the past enchants visitors whose gaze may linger on an exquisitely carved wooden window frame, an 18th-century bronze sculpture or a spiritually uplifting stupa. It is the largest city of Nepal, the political as well as cultural capital of the country. Kathmandu is a result of diverse cultures and lifestyles, a long history of faith and beliefs, and of arts and architecture. It is therefore, more than just a city. Kathmandu is a living museum - it provides one an opportunity to travel back in time and to relive history. Once you clear Immigration and Customs formalities, our trusted guide will meet you in the arrival lounge and escort you to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be at leisure.
